Logo on the back
I’ve just inlayed my PG logo in woods onto the back of an acoustic guitar and I think the results will look fantastic when the box is completed.
The back of a guitar is so much more personal than the front, the face is something for the entire audience to admire, the grain pattern is for the player alone to fall in love with.
The idea of placing the logo on the back under the neck block was to encourage the owner to feel a real sense of pride in the instrument, as opposed to on the front where it’s only purpose is as an advert.
I wonder whether anyone else has done this and what the reaction was from the musician lucky enough to buy it.

Re: Logo on the back
I think it could work well. I noticed in Dave’s recent post of his two tenors he put his logo on the back of the headstock, and I think that looks really classy.

Great link thank you
Dave is just chronicling a build of a fender telecaster on this forum, I noticed the logo moved to the front again. I shall ask him there.
