Your end wedge thread got me thinking about another idea for the forum. I particpate in a Brazilian guitar building forum too and they have put together a thread on tonewoods in Brazil. There is a picture and some properties about each species. Maybe someone in Australia, perhaps a tonewood dealer, could put together a dictionary of tonewoods from down under.

Hi Robbie, you will find alot more information is going to be available in the coming months on properties of Australian Tonewoods.
Andrew Morrow who works for the Forestry department of.
Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Research Organization.
Is putting together a full list of suitable Australian Timbers and there properties, And I will be putting together a list of the Tasmanian Species suitable on my new website, coming soon.
