New timber arrives

Post by Taffy Evans » Tue Jul 01, 2008 9:29 pm

Hi All
I have just recieved, unpacked and stacked my recent order of spruce top sets, 10 in all, from Graham at Kootenay Tonewoods. I'm well pleased. Thank's to those who's advice I took to do the deal, I'm very pleased. The gain lines are so close its hard to count the grains per inch they are so close, and yes it is stiff. Pity Ive got to wait to use it. Would you believe I'm just going to use the last of a batch of spruce I bought in the late 1970's, then on to a stash I bought in 2002-3 I think it was. I have used a fair bit of ceder over the last few years though and thats made the spruce last, but that all but gone now.

Glad to hear Graham has another happy customer. His wood and service really are the best.

Cheers Martin

I agree completely, if it's nice clean stiff Englemann you need, Graham @ Kootenay Tonewoods is THE man.

Cheers
