Been a while since I did an arm bevel on an instrument, and thought I'd do a spec build and brush up on the proceedure. They certainly are a challenge when you pick figured timber to do them.
This instrument has a 21.5" scale length and made from Australian Blackwood with a Yellow Cedar soundboard. Bindings are Ringed Gidgee. Fret board is Gidgee and all other trim is Blackwood. Rubner tuners and K&K Aloha Twin pickup installed. Finished in high gloss polyurethane.

The combo of ringed gidgee bindings with that blackwood is a real treat Allen. Nice proportions on the arm bevel too. Great job all round.

Great style and look. Love the sound hole shape and rosette.
