Hi Rod,
The wood used and your artistry and fine woodworking skills are very special.
There must be an enormous amount of time thought gone into your work.
Beautiful mate thanks for sharing.
Cheers
Alan

Yep , tick of approval for a this hollowbody, feels nice , the neck is comfortable and has a nice tone, good sustain and no feedback.
Performed well at its first gig, very happy with it, sounds as nice as it looks.
Cheers

Said goodbye to this one at the recent Melbourne guitar show, awesome guitar created a buzz at this event, a very keen guitar lover snapped it up on the first day, I was a bit sorry to see it go

LOL..I never have trouble seeing a guitar leave my workshops. They're pretty much like a girlfriend who you've spent half your life with in a relationship that passed it's use by date years ago

Well done on the sale Rod. I'm with Martin I'm never sorry to see them go, in fact I'm happy when they leave, gives me more space to work the next one.

What a stunner! Congratulations on the guitar and the sale. How did you find the silky oak as a neck wood?

Re: Hollow body with a difference
Thanks Jim, Silky oak neck wood, i love it, looks great, i've built a couple of guitars with it and a bass, the pores can be a bit on the large side but i love the look of the timber so i don't mind going the extra bit in the finish stage..
Cheers
