Not a guitar...
OK, so I was challenged with building a violin. How hard can it be?? Turns out, a bit harder than imagined but I am happy with the outcome. Now, I know I may upset the traditionalists but I love timber and the thought of staining it was just not possible. Engelmann Spruce top, Euro Maple back and side and neck, ebony other bits. Finish, Shellac It is really loud and is settling in well.

That's turned out a treat. I really like the white look as well.

Well it is a luthier's forum, not a guitar builders forum... 
Looks beautiful and like a lot of work must have gone into carving that scroll. Too pretty to hide under a stain.

Awesome nice natural look ,I watched an Ellis Inlay vid he said he had many projects lined up to get to one day

As an aside I got a fiddle Blackwood in big enough to quarter double bass backs out , there's a challenge !
