How to protect signatures on your guitars

This one is a how to of protecting the signatures on a signed guitar.

There are some clear lacquer witness marks up each side, where I have transitioned the new lacquer onto the old lacquer, in a perfect world we would have resprayed the whole top, but that was outside of the customers budget, as it was I did way more than I possibly should have.

For me the key points on this one, is paint selection and not to buff, these are very important decisions when preserving the signatures.

Thanks, the camera is also being a bit generous to me, it has light marks in the finish.

I think if I sat there with some swirl remover I could make it come up as nice as a buffed finish, but that's just way more energy than I currently have.
