Yep, had a crash on my computer yesterday whilst uploading, had not realised some of th ephors went into the wrong spots, fixing it all this morning.

Some people will hit the top of the pickup with a hair dryer or heat gun at a low setting, at the appropriate distance so as to melt some of the existing wax back onto the inside of the cover. Holding the pickup upside down so the wax runs between the cover and the bobbins. A new cover can be microphonic as it was not part of the original potting process. You can also substitute some double-sided tape between the coils and the cover as a dampener. Some will coat the inside surface of the cover with a little wax so they can push the cover into the coils, displacing the wax when it gets warm.
