With my anniversary approaching my wife expressed her desire to learn the Ukulele ...so I made my first ever uke: a concert (on a budget).
Huge thanks to Paul (Ozwood) for his assistance and advice.
Top : Spruce (Ozwood cast-off)
Neck: Meranti
Back and sides: Alleged Meranti? ...but looks more like Makore than anything else.
Head plate, fingerboard and bridge: An old bit Apricot stump from a mate.
Bindings: Spotted gum
Finish: Feast Watson Buffing oil.
Apologies for the poor quality pics

Looks great. That's a pretty nice looking soundboard of 'cast-off' spruce!
