Im not up on current copyright law. Laypersons opinions please, do you reckon that the downloads from here would be legal? I certainly looks legit.

Legality of this and other sites is questionable. They may be legal under Russian copyright law but may not comply with copyright law outside Russia. See here for details:

Personal choice mate......apparently royalties do get paid to performers but the amount is a fraction of royalties paid outside Russia.

Yeah it's the same old Napster crap IMHO and would be something that I would not participate with.

For the artists this kind of royalty free distribution of their IP is a horror..... As instrument builders I would consider it prudent to support the artists.

As a human being, and I use that term loosely for myself........ :D I just would not want to support it either.
