Looks good. Unfortunately I very much doubt we can get it here. It can't be shipped internationally by air because of the alcohol content, and I have not been able to find anyone from the usual suppliers who stocks it here.

I wondered that myself. I would love to try it but I don't think it will be possible unless someone starts importing it.

We can get Ubeaut here so I wonder if someone there would consider importing it.

You said "so far so good" ... how confident are you that it is better in the long run that ubeaut HS? And why?
Your video was great. That's exactly how I apply Ubeaut to my basses, albeit a lot less attention to pore filling ang gloss, because its not a look I cherish ...

Re: New Luthier Tips du Jour video - Applying Royal lac
I have been testing Royal Lac for about 2 years now and have never had anything but positive results. Ubeaut has plasticizers in it. Royal lac does not. According to the manufacturer, the chemical bond of the ingredients is strong enough to warrant not using plasticizers.matthew wrote:You said "so far so good" ... how confident are you that it is better in the long run that ubeaut HS? That is all very well and good, but not of much use if we can't get it.
