Would be interested to know where those members who have Jet 16-32s
source their sanding belts. Carbatec quoted me $22.00 per belt.
Replacement sanding belts for Jet 16-32 drum sander
Re: Replacement sanding belts for Jet 16-32 drum sander
I buy the sandpaper in rolls and cut the belts from same...think the paper came from Carbatec here in Adelaide.

Try Abrasiflex or The Sandpaper man for rolls then cut your own.
Re: Replacement sanding belts for Jet 16-32 drum sander
G'day Bruce,
I am also interested in belts for my 16-32. I will be back home in the Nation's Capital this week. Maybe, if we could find a supplier with a better price than Carba-tec for the correct width and agree on a grade we could share the cost of a roll to do the "cut your own" option suggested by others.
Cheers,
Alan

Thanks Martin, Soulman and Rob for your guidance. Sorry Al you are too slow.
Should stay home instead of swanning around the country side in your new caravan.

Hi Bruce,
Got back to Canberra Monday - still too cold. Now in Ulladulla. You will need to let know your supplier and the grade you settled on. I think I have 80 grit on my 16-32. The woodcraft guild have a finer grade on their oscillating Jet drum sander which burnt some Blackwood when I attempted to thickness sand.
Will be in touch when we finally finish avoiding Canberra's winter.
