HHG and epoxy

Just wondering if i should use HHG to glue my fretboard on to the neck that i've inserted two cf rods into and used epoxy, and now have two 4mm strips of epoxy surface along the glueing surface for my fretboard. Will the HHG adhere to the epoxy? and if it doesn't will it be a problem? should i just epoxy the f/b to the neck?

Rod I use epoxy on my fretboards in preference to HHG......I dont like using a glue that contains water on the fretboard.neck joint.

I dont think the HHG will adhere to the epoxy but IMO you should still have plenty of gluing surface and its not like your fretboard is subjected to constant stress like a bridge is.

The three main deciders on what glue I use:

1. The chances of needing to undo the joint.
2. Do I need to keep water out of the equation (eg swelling purfs and thin veneers etc).
3. Is gap filling required (eg gluing sides to tail and head block.
