Pure beauty
Your work is always jaw dropping Jeff
Are the strings Nylon ? Just wondering about the bracing required for 28 strings!

I actually have one of your guitars in my shop now jeffrey for a refret and a couple of other things, the signature scallop area at the upper rear bout was the giveaway.
Very good looking guitar.

Not wanting to take jeffrreys thunder, but they are sharping levers as used on harps for taking a note from an open to a sharpcharangohabsburg wrote:Gorgeous!![]()

To me they look like a jordan lever but they could just be a universal one

Yes, of course, but I'd like to to know something specific about the mechanism (close-up?), brand and availability.simso wrote:Not wanting to take jeffrreys thunder, but they are sharping levers as used on harps for taking a note from an open to a sharpcharangohabsburg wrote:Could you please tell something about these parts?

Hi Jeffrey,
Wow! Looks great!
But, my eyes are not good, and I can see *only* 20 strings (6 string "normal", 6 bass on harp neck, 8 "harp" strings) - are the other 8 internal?
Thanks,
GregL.

Re: Harpguitar anyone?
I guess the "harp" strings can be played at either side of the bridge, so they would count twice.GregL wrote: [...] 8 "harp" strings) - are the other 8 internal?

WOW! what a beautiful instrument. Amazing workmanship. I'd love to hear how it sounds. And I did count the strings too. I think I have the 28 sorted.

Re: Harpguitar anyone?
wow folks, didn't know there's so much interest in Harpies!
1. Yes, those funny looking tuners near the superbass tuners are aka sharp levels, there are supposed to drop or increase the pitch by 1/2 a note.
2. The super trebles are divided into 2 sections, the upper sections are tune by the zither pins which on the lower section, the strings can be tune by moving the small bridges up or down.
3. i used a modified lattice bracing pattern for the TOP.
Enjoy!
