Ok the fret source and type has been sorted.

Dunlop 6220s will do the job. Thanks Jeff for the chart link.

I am sorry I got the decimal point in the wrong spot and confused the shit out of myself and everyone else!

To be continued....

Cheers and talks all for you help

Sorry for hijacking your thread Alan. ;)

No worries Markus!

Nothing wrong with taking the piss out your mates! We do that all the time here but if you give it out be prepared to get it back usually at the most inopportune time

Cheers

This is Australia Markus, were we 'DO' play really huge guitars 8)
I'm sorry Kim. I did not know that this is only the toy guitar, downsized model:

...of the real Australian guitar! (show off some pictures of the real thing please! :) :) :) )
The guitars Kim was referring to (Gigantokitharus australensis) disappeared shortly after the Chicxulub impact event. Fossilized remains, like those in Jim's post, are often exhibited. Ironically, the only living descendent is native to Portugal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m842Ssr1MuY
