I stumbled across this , this dude has made his own bandsaw from timber ! :shock:

I made one of those last year, it works pretty good and wasn't hard to make, cost about $300 I think. He has lots of cool stuff on his website.

Ive been making one as well. Its nearly done. The table doesn't tilt but its fully built other wise.

It doesn't have any guarding on it yet which which give me the heebies , so i haven't done any real cutting on it yet.

I'll post some pics on it in the jigs section when im done
