I'm looking for a supplier of flat bone 1, 2, or 3 mm thick , in similar sizes like flat MOP .
And would like to know if anyone supplies it ?
25mm square or larger would be nice or anything larger than 20 x 20 square.
suppliers like StewMac or LMI seem to only have nuts , saddles and pins, unless I missed it.
I have enough for the what I need it for right now thanks to a cow that had been slaughtered up Ballarat way.
I only grabbed one shin bone though to try it out and it is nice material after a bit of filthy, smelly unhealthy work.
Where can I find flat Bone ?

This place http://stores.masecraftsupply.com/-strs ... Detail.bok sells various bone Rob including a bit of Giraffe bone
I guess if you need long bits. If you intend to use it for inlay I would check with them to make sure it is totally grease free.

Thanks Wayne and Jim , some good looking bone in those links.
Jim , your right about the grease free, I did not know it could be such a problem. after I posted I went and read this link about preparing bone.

The shin I have cut up has been sitting out in the open with a fair bit of sun on it as well , looks like if I am going to use it though, it will need more preparation.
