Sorry, but here's a couple more shots after two more coats today. Only 'cause. 1. better pix and 2. I'm really impressed with the way this stuff goes on. I've been using Dave's tute as a starting point, and wiping with paper towels, but I think that next I'll lay down a couple coats with no wiping and see how the build goes...

Been awhile for much progress on this one, but, I've more or less finished the Tru-oil. Used most of a little bottle, and am happy with the result. The back, sides and neck are just wiped and towelled off. I've done a couple burnishing sessions on the top, as described by Kim, but don't see too much difference.....

Anyway, I hope to have it done before my friend goes to Tamworth, and should. It'll have a Fishman matrix ellipse in it for amping.....Installed the tuners this morning, and will break it all down again for final finishing and bridge placement. The tuners are 2nd hand Grovers with Ziricote buttons....

Got it from Western Firearms in Syndey. Had to buy the kit with a stain and a wax/finish. Didn't use the other two and think I won't, but I'll get a silicone free wax to seal it all up before it goes off to Tamworth with my friend....I did find a source for a large bottle on its own, but don't remember where, and, as it goes off in the bottle, I thought I'd get the smaller one. Did 10 coats and has about the same left...

Nice and easy to use. Smells a bit, but user and environment friendly. I didn't want a mirror finish on this one. It's meant to be minimalist and earthy in appearance. Hope it sounds good. Will mostly be plugged in, so she can tweak the sounds to get what she wants....
