Recently when I was in Spain studying with José Romanillos I had the opportunity of sitting down with him at his home one evening. He allowed me to video tape our conversation and with his permission I am making it available for others to see. This is part III of that evening of conversation. In Part I I asked him about how he got his start in lutherie.
In Part II he talks about his dream and passion of creating a cultural center in Spain for the study, building and restoration of the Spanish guitar and vihuela.
In Part III José talks about the book he wrote about the life and work of António Torres as well as his soon to be released book about his own construction methods developed over the last 50 years. He also describes the traditional Spanish guitar sound.
Enjoy!
