One dealer that I have seen there the last few times I have been, imports and deals in Japanese tools, boxes full of the real gear.

Hey Rob Next time you go if you spot some spokeshaves let me know. I am in the market for a few spokeshaves and rasps for shaping necks . Hope all is well!

Stu , I'm leaving to go there in half an hour There is usually plenty of spoke shaves to be had, the ones I like for users are the Stanley adjustable 151's . a flat and a curved sole. they should be between $15 and $20 ea. may even see some at $10 to $12. If I see them I will call you.Or are you after the no screw adjustment type?
pity you cant be there , its a good night for a woody type boys catch up.
Also a good way to meet the type of people who do hand work and are looking for keen young guys to teach .
