Not too much interest in "cross country wrestling" in a lot of Australia Martin.

Didn't even watch the bloody thing & from what I saw of it on the news, good job I didn't! Basic handling errors & it sounds like the Ref had the biggest game of anybody..... 28 penalties! That's not rugby.

Won't be long before the Kiwi's start kicking us in Rugby League as well Martin, We have been teaching them very well, Maybe the Kiwi's could repay the favour and teach us to play Rugby :D

But seriously Why so many penalties at international level ?

I'm starting a new business, selling whistles to rugby Ref's, they must blow the pea outa a dozen every game :)

Yes Martin, us aussies may as well give up on that particular cup.....and we probably would if the 99.999999% of us who couldn't give a shit about it suddenly decided it was a worthwhile game.

Guess I'm in the 0.000001% that do give a shit

Anyway, anything's better than that crappy aerial ping pong game that awards dropped catches, penalises you for bumping into the opposition & gives you a point for "trying hard" when you miss a shot at goal....

And as for soccer....yaaaaawn.
