Hey folks, I hope you don't mind me posting some pictures of my latest build. It was finished back in February of this year and unfortunately this guitar had a bit of a tragedy in shipping. I shipped the guitar to Toronto via Canada post. I got the appropriate insurance ($3,500 value) and sent the guitar off. My customer got it and when she opened up the case and pulled out the guitar, there was a rather large crack along the back....the long story short, I got a quote from Tony Karol in Toronto to fix the guitar, Canada Post was excellent to deal with and got a cheque to me within 3 weeks of the claim and the guitar is now fixed and will be buffed out again in September.
So here are the final pictures of this guitar (taken by my very talented wife), taken back in February, I hope you don’t mind, there are quite a few. And here are some sound clips too. “Dry” clips have a level EQ and no effects, “Wet” clips have a bit of reverb and more dynamic EQ.
I'm very fortunate to have Brian Thiessen (a local artist) record guitars for me. I've always loved Brian's style of playing, both electric and acoustic (
check out his album Road to Home & House of Peace when you can) and I'm honored to have him showcase my guitars with his playing.
Cheers.
