This guitar is for my son who is a working musician. I sent it off with him a few weeks back and it has been used on twenty gigs. I said, tongue in cheek, give it a flogging and play it in a bit. It has a K&K mini western pickup system fitted and he liked the fact that the whole guitar is very responsive when plugged into the PA so it has been subjected to some Tommy Emanual tapping. He brought it back to me all sheepish last week and said there is a noise that sounds like a brace has lifted. I knew this guitar was going to be well played so I built it as strong as possible and I thought surely a brace hasn't lifted.

The guitar is all Blackwood and I must say it sounds damn good. I must thank Bob Connor for picking out a suitable top for me. I have heard other guitars with hardwood tops and they seemed tight sounding and a bit thin to me. This one surprised me and sounded good from the start so I am very pleased. There will be a mp3 of the guitar in the near future.
