Neck repair

I have a Walnut guitar that i built about 6 months ago, turned out real nice, played beautiful and had a fantastic tone. Anyway i'm not sure why or how but the guitar developed a bad case of fret buzz, when i look down the neck i can see it's warped. I tried a refret but that didn't work so i'm thinking of taking the neck off and making a new one. I'm a bit worried about damaging the soundbox and also getting the new neck back in right location seeing as the bridge is in position. Anyone got any ideas? Wayne

Well without seeing it in person, its difficult to tell.

Lets assume worst case scenario that its badly warped, whats wrong with removing frets and replaning the fretboard

Theres a lot of things that can cause fret buzz, some are very easily dealt with

+1 on this.

After replaning it might be a good idea to let it sit there for another few months before refretting to see if it really stopped moving (unless you don't mind to de-fret again if the neck kept on moving).

For me, only a really bad twist would justify a new neck:

Finally got around to fixing the neck in between builds, did what you suggested Steve, worked out good and in the end it wasn't all that hard. It left yesterday with a very happy buyer.
