The author probably heard about that lime green commodore and decided not to risk the intervention.kiwigeo wrote: Nick should have been included in this article.

Good article, nice to see a wee bit of Graham's shop.
Cheers

Re: Christchurch Luthiers get a spread in the local paper
I tend to be flying under the radar so far in Christchurch & still a bit of an unknown quantity with the locals (Kiwi's tend to be a funny bunch, they don't like to take a punt with their cash unless the luthier is known to have made one for.... *insert name of well known Kiwi muso here*). Peter has been in the business for years and has made some class guitars for "well known" kiwi muso's and Graham is such an excellent player known throughout NZ & overseas that his guitars are well known just because he plays them. I've never met Davy but he has a formidable rep amongst the celtic fraternity. These guys have been friends & sharing info e.t.c for a number of years so I guess when the journo was researching the article one name mentioned led to another and then another. Plus Kim could have something! The hothouse green Commy probably didn't help my cause

I did have an article about me make an American guitar playing Magazine about a year ago (A bit of an obscure one not one of the mainstreams), my one claim to fame
