Is there any other way of donating a few bucks to this lot? I am kind of allergic to the number of obligatory fields on their form. ;-)

Simon,

Ive donated on a couple of occasions and Ive never been bothered with spam or any other unwanted contact afterwards. If you like you can give me the money and I can make a donation under your name. Lillian did this when she donated to Queensland flood appeal recently.

Bloody cheek! You should know by now Lillian...I'm the good looking one!
It's good to hear from you, just hadn't heard anything so just got to thinking when I heard about the big wirly thingy & knew if the roles were reversed you'd be doing the same. Think you've mentioned being in Seattle before but I think I'm older than you so my memory's diminishing rapidly, at this rate I'll soon be living in a goldfish bowl & calling a castle with a deep sea diver at my portculass, home.
Glad your family are all OK , think it petered out a bit quicker than they initially forecast didn't it? That's good though because if it had hit New York with full force it would have added 10's of Billions to the already large bill.
Sorry to hear about your coccyx though, that's bloody painful I know!
I know I know. It was the tears. I was laughing so hard.

Can I send you an arched bridge to go with your castle?

We were all glad that it did kinda blow itself out before moving up the coast. You are so right it could have been devastating if it had hit the northern seaboard with more force than it did. They really got lucky.

Thanks. I have at least 4 if not 6 more weeks before things are better. Damn bone doesn't really do anything, but man it can cause a huge pain.

Glad to hear all is well.

Would comment on the above further, but am afraid I'm about to jump in the car and head off for the weekend - hope y'all have a good one too...

.... 'Later!
Hope you had a great one.

Cheers.
Thanks Allen, I'm going to assume it was the commitment ceremony here in Seattle and not the California wedding. We were so blessed that weekend with perfect weather, the loan of a friend of a friend's home and family in attendance. The certificate is a Quaker tradition. We saw the owner's on their wall and asked about it. It seems like such a great idea we borrowed it. Ours is in a 2'x3.5' frame in the living room. We love it.

Thanks Martin. Again, I'm gonna make the same assumption. The minister is a family friend. We were so happy she agreed to preside over our ceremony. Fran cried through the whole thing. And in case you were curious, we were all barefoot because Fran's new shoes slipped on the tile so to avoid any remote chance of an accident, we kicked them off to the side.

Simon, I did indeed ask Martin if he would play middle man for me and it worked a treat.

Simon,

I can donate but can't put your name as it wont match with my credit card details and email/postal address. I can however note in the comments column that you are the donor.
