OzManouche 2011
This year's OzManouche gypsy jazz festival is to be held at the Brisbane Jazz Club from the 25th to 27th November, and La Petite Manouche from Christchurch will be playing. Can I expect to see at least one Oliver guitar?

Unfortunately not Mike
Although there is an extremely tenuous link of sorts but not instrument-wise, their tutor & mentor is/was Bob who endorses & uses my geetar. November's far enough off that I may be able to talk one of them into taking one of my axes over
. I'll have to see if I can get over for this one, could be a goodun

Be sure to be on the high side of the terrace/ marque. At high tide the lower side is awash. More than one display has been quickly shifted. I'm sure the Jazz Club was flood affected ( it had to be ) but is open now.

One of us may be there Mike. I've spoken to Bob who knows (and taught) both these guys & he's given me their phone numbers & thinks they will be receptive to me offering my spare Petite Bouche for them to use or have with them at the festival. Just have to get me A into G and actually ring one of them now.
