Hey there Jeffrey - I fully expect this to be a masterpiece like all of your guitars - and it is certainly starting out that way.

I am planning to be at the Montreal show this year ( as a spectator ) and will make a point of coming to meet you and checking this out.

That's going to be a fantastic guitar! I like the way you continued the theme on the fretboard - headplate.

Lovely, lovely work.
Waiting to be enlightened though, I just know your baiting us, so I'll bite.
- 5 string holes? - 1/2 solid head, 1/2 slotted head? - with just the 1 slotted head tuner - or 10 strings??? :?

Its a wonderful thing to observe the result of what can happen when one who is gifted finds his or her focus. Your eye for design and originality is quite incredible Jeffrey. I have never 'heard' one of your guitars but if they sound anything at all like they look then clearly you are among the very best acoustic guitar builders in the world today.

Beautiful work mate.

Cheers

Kim

Seems to be something charango-like :D

Right now I observe these left thumb recesses in the fingerboard. This build is full of surprises! :cl

Thanks Folks! its at these places where we share and learn from each other and its great to see the many ideas that inspired us and allowed us to express our many fantasy ...... guitar building is lots of fun and I believed anything goes as long we don't waste all those precious wood 8)

I was quite bored with the usual solid or slotted peg head so I decided to have the best of both and its a 10 stringer with an extra bass added to the standard 6 and the first 3 are double so its good for solo as well as for strumming....

more later...

yes, i've added those scallop for the left hand thumb, it so much comfortable when you need to use the extra thumb for those bass lines.

Jeffery you set a very high bar, only one thing I can say really.....Image

As Kim stated, if it ends up sounding as good as it looks it's going to stir things up in Montreal :cl

Wow Jeff,

You really do make the guitar your canvas...no wonder you are happy, it should knock them for six in Montreal.

Well Done :cl :cl :cl 8)
