Which bandsaw?

I found this Champion saw too. I am expecting it to go higher rrat the end but if not I could just about manage to stretch to this if it is worth it. I can't find anything about it. I started a separate thread to maximize my chances of success of finding someone who has actually seen one.

The rubber inner tubes I used on my saw are fine, they were easy to camber once stretched on to the wheels. They have been on for three years of solid almost daily use and show no sign of wear, the blades never break or run off the wheels. There is no join, so no bump.

I just bought the Paul Call for $61. I pulled a motor off an old compressor today. Pulled doesn't quite cover it but more of that when I start the bandsaw restoration thread 5.5 amps so it should be 3/4hp at least. My inverter can run it too. I also have 2 smaller ones and a bigger 1 too.
First I will check the brushes of the original motor.
I should have it by Friday but we have a 3 day party this weekend so I will not be safe near machinery for a few days.

Good luck Martyn and some photos of your saw next to its first board sawn under you guidance would be good to see. If it works and lasts like their clamps it should be a ripper (or a cross cutter if you like).
