Costly mistake

Post by kiwigeo » Wed Dec 01, 2010 3:30 pm

Jumped in the car with the boss and sped down to the airport to pick up a guest this morning. After failing to find any flights from perth arriving at 0900 on the arrivals board I rang my friend...who was still in Perth and heading out to the airport in 12 hours to catch her flight..... arriving in Adelaide at 9PM.

The boss had to be placated so there was only one way to do that.......off we went on a huge shopping spree. Harbour Town...IKEA....Central Market and then home. The funny thing is I ended up spending just as much as the boss.

Pooped out now but not so pooped out I cant go out to the workshop and have a play with my new patternmakers vice.

Well I did find a nice big cutting mat that Ive been looking for for ages....just the ticket for the rosette job on the lute top. Oh yeah.....and the boss decided to lurk for half an hour in the Simone Perle undie shop so of course I had to go in with her and keep an eye on her.

Tonewood & Lingerie or the two combined? Would have to contain a warning " Danger, this garment could contain traces of non cities BRW or contain 'splintery' materials"

Bucket of lard?????? Probably wombat lard would withstand the shipping to Arkansas best.

My favourite lingerie shopping memory was 19 years ago in Noumea in a department store.
Expensive french undies located next to the fresh fish section.
