Zircote Tenor for Micheal
Zircote Tenor for Micheal
This one has been complete for a couple of weeks now, and I've just been playing it in to see if it's going to need any more tweaking. It's a comision that is going to WA and has been a real joy, and challenge to build.

Back and Sides - Zircote
Top - Bear Claw Sitka Spruce
Bindings - Figured Maple
Fret Board - Ebony with 12" radius
Bridge - Ebony

Yep, I like this one even more than the Myrtle Uke. This has an earthy vibe and I just love the rosette and the Zicote back and sides.
Thanks Allen for sharing such a beautiful instrument.
Cheers

Yes me too, the sides look almost like African blackwood and the big spider on the back is very unique.

Again, thanks for everyones kind comments.
It's just so pretty, that there has to be some pictures of this one featured on an updated website I've got to put together.

Wow great! I've been waiting to see this one finished up Allen and you didn't disappoint.
Definitely worth the effort and overcoming the challenges it presented.
Top work.
Jeremy.
(my Tenor Ziricote has not progressed at all I'm afraid...)

Smooth as silk Allen, great pic of the back with the reflection of the mulch.
