These fine pieces of timber came from Bob Cefalu and will be matched with one of his Italian Spruce tops.
This one is a keeper.

Sebastiaan, it does look that way, but somehow, the tree grows those spider-web whorls and grows a relatively straight grain line every so often too. Ziricote is absolutely one of the most beautiful timbers on the planet. The Bob's have quite a tag team going on this one: Bob discovered and expertly milled this set from out of a board, and Bob is making that set into an object worthy of a art gallery with the potential to sing sweetly.
