Paul I would agree with Bob's analysis of Native Olive in terms of tone. As for comparing it to BRW I am hesitant to do so. Why? Because although BRW is great tonewood I am of the belief that there are even better sounding woods out there yet to be discovered.
BRW was at one time widely available and used even on cheap guitars as a result. Today, to us, it is legendary for it's tonal properties but again how many people have owned Tiger Myrtle, Native Olive, and who knows what guitars?
I really love the center light colored wood that the back will have on this Hesh, are you planning a decorativecenter backstrip of some sort or will you leave it natural bro?
