I heard Les Paul passed away today at the age of 94.

It is indeed a sad day in the music world, not only from a playing perspective (He wasn't too bad at that!) but from an innovation standpoint.

It was "how high the moon" with his wife, Mary Ford that made me want to learn this great instrument in the first place, not that I've even got close to replicating the skill's Les Paul displayed.
