New Luthier Tips du Jour video - bolt on mortise and tenon
The newest Luthier Tips du Jour instructional video is on Youtube. The topic is the bolt on mortise and tenon neck joint. Subtitles are available in both English and Portuguese and you can translate them into any other language by using the CC option on Youtube.

Nice, thanks Robbie I too like the variable angle addition to your neck routing jig. Currently I have fixed angle 'wedges' for the two different neck angles that I use that dowel locate onto my morticing jig, but having adjustability built in looks like a nice & simple touch.

The jig is shown on my DVD. I hear there are plans of a similar version of my jig running around somewhere but I don't know where.
