Geez, I dunno. Taking the piss out of banjo players and now Tasmanians.
Have a listen to some of the playing here. I actually tried to get some Bill Keith to educate you philistines but couldn't find any so you'll have to make do with Larry McNeely.
If you bigots can stand listening to the entire track you'll find some tasty guitar playing toward the end. And some nice Keith style chromatic banjo licks to finish up the song.
Anyone heard of Bela Fleck?

Had the opportunity to see and hear Bela Fleck and the Flectones at Byron Bat Blues Fest a few years ago. He is a class act and what a player! He also picks guitar like a demond. Touring with Bella was Victor Wootton on bass and man he is inspiration to all bass players.
Harry Manx includes a little banjo in his concerts. Very taisty indeed.
Banjo's the go!
Cheers

Andrew Ford did a long interview with him on the Music Show, he went into some depth on different playing styles.

I think you forgot "Stringbean". Buddie had the whole hip-hop look happening way before its time....
