Shell laminate!
Shell laminate!
Hey Ladies and Gents
I am looking at buying some abalone shell for inlays does anyone recommend where to buy from.
I am currently talking to a nice Ladie from Newzealand from a shell supplier. Has anyone dealt with them before here is the link. http://www.oceanshellnz.com/catalog/
I'm in the process of too and throw emails trying to get some larger product and at a good price.
Your opinions matter
Regards
Tim
PS. Not sure where to post this!

I recently got some beautiful raw Paua/Abalone Shell Pieces from guy who sells it on ebay. 100grms (3.5oz) was a tad less than $20 and was here within a week. He has an Australian bank account so direct deposit is ok, which is great for people like me who have never got around to getting a paypal account.

Thanks to Jim I now have some pieces of Shell.
Jim popped into work today so we could meet and he was generous to offer me some pieces of shell to attempt my first shaped inlay.
Thanks Jim for the shell and the chat.
Catch up again soon.
Cheers
