Thought with all the uke discussion, I should show mine

1. Blackwood uke (AKA the broken uke--my wife drove over the rims)
The third picture shows the repaired rim. will pull it apart at some stage to rework the neck and headstock shape a bit
2. European Walnut/ sinker redwood/Pau ferro Loud, responsive and crisp
3. Padauk/ wrc WIP

That walnut is gorgeous. Goes really well with the bindings (maple?)
I drove over my first guitar (an epiphone), which dented it pretty badly but it still lived.

Yeah I really lucked out on that Walnut, the picture really does not do it justice. even after all the time I worked on it I can just sit and look at it sometimes and be amazed, so much depth in the curl.
Its a sassafras binding, I had some from the ribs from my last guitar. wanted something ligh coloured but low key.

All three ukes look great Jeff, I remember how disappointed I was for you when the blackwood beauty got crushed however that was a great save and is now a good story.

They really do look great Jeff. And you should thank the wife for driving over that one. Look at how much more experience you've got after that repair.

Nice Ukuleles Jeff but that repair takes the Cake. I have been proud of some of the repairs I have done but that one deserves a Medal. Reach over your left shoulder with your right hand and give yourself a hearty pat on the back for that one.

Agreed ! Great work Jeff . The Uke has already got quite a history and it's only just been born . I'm betting it'll end up being your favorite. The three tenors look fantastic .

Seems I'm about the only one not building a uke at the moment . I blame David Hurd for this . It's his evil plot to transform all guitar builders into Uke builders. I understand he also has Bob convinced, and ready to change the name of this forum The ANZUF

If I had taken pics during the repair I think my fingers would have been permanantly glued to the camera with CA.
Just one section at a time with paddle pop sticks reinforcing the inside and a couple of tubes of superglue
