Got those down.

We're just over 200 fret boards now, and a few more than 100 bridge blanks.

I'll let this go until Friday for any stragglers to jump in or if you want to revise your order.

I'm waiting for Bob to get back to me about shipping costs for bridge blanks and head plates. He may not be able to give a firm cost on those, so if that is the case, then we'll have to go with what we've got and square up once everything arrives.

I've built a spread sheet with everyones orders, so it's pretty easy to get the total owing for each of you in $US. I've got them all calculated out now, sans shipping cost for the aforementioned.

I will post each of you your order, for you to check over and confirm that everything looks to be correct. I'll also pass along my bank details so that you can direct deposit to my account. With the way that the $AU is fluctuating, getting this right is going to be a bit tricky, but we'll muddle through it.

One thing that has me concerned is that this order is going to be well over the $1,000 that gets the attention of customs. I've talked to Bob about this and he's checking if the order can be broken down so we can stay under the radar.

Updated oh masked one.

And do I hear a big cheer rising up? The $AU is at .71 now. Let's cross our fingers that it continues north.

Got both your updates.

Count right now is 209 fret boards and 175 bridge blanks.

Rough cost of order is $3, 023.75 US, but that does not include shipping cost for bridge blanks and head plates.

And yes Bob, this turned out to be a heck of a lot more work than I anticipated when I first posted that email. And it hasn't even come to the time to start collecting money or breaking down orders. :shock:

Allen, I wonder if BobC would send the order to 2 or 3 different addresses. Then someone else can give you a hand re-posting etc. Otherwise you could be going until Xmas.

If we are going to split the order anyway to stay under the $1000 mark this may work. Perhaps like we did with the EIRW buy.

I am happy to help out we go this route.
Cheers

Thanks Dom. Still haven't nailed down the details yet, but this will probably add to shipping cost for some people, as they have ordered both ebony and rosewood. I don't mind doing the work, but I'm not going to do another until next year. :roll:

Can each of your that are participating in the group buy, get your address details to me so I can start to get this in order. If you are using an alias that makes it difficult for me to figure out who you are, then please make that clear.

I'd also like your email address so I can post your order to you to check over. There are too many to post them all here. If you'd rather not disclose your email to me, then let me know and I'll try and work something else out.

PM me with the details, or you can email me at;

This offer is now closed.

The order numbers are as follows;

Grade A Ebony Fret Boards - 164
Grade B Ebony Fret Boards - 6
Grade A Ebony Bridge Blanks - 106
Grade A Ebony Head Plates - 27

Grade A East Indian Rosewood Fret Boards - 53
Grade A East Indian Rosewood Bridge Blanks - 81

Total for the order comes to $3,251.95 US, or as of todays exchange rate, $4,782.99 AU

I will post you all my bank details, and ask that you get transfer the funds as soon as possible, so I can get this underway. I will keep track of what you transfer to me, and hopefully the exchange rate will stay stable enough that by the time everything goes through we break even. If not I'll have to figure out what the difference is.

As per all group buys, you will be up for the postage for your parcel from Cairns to you, and you can pay that once I get them in the mail, and I'll let you know.

Bob is also working with his supplier about breaking the order down so we stay under customs radar. I want you all to be aware though that if customs charges are unavoidable then we'll have to square up for those as well.

Look for my emails to you with my bank details, and I'll do the currency conversion for everyones order at the same time, so I can keep that straight.

I've posted everyone with their total owning in $AU. The exchange rate at time of conversion was 1 USD = 1.47722 AUD or 1 AUD = 0.676947 USD.

When you've made the transfer, can you email me so I can keep all of this straight. It's starting to get a bit like wrestling an octopus. :shock:
