Here is my first build a soprano uke kit (ala grizzly) plywood kit that was mostly done but get this it is pretty good sounding uke it has the traditional uke sound and it can get LOUD. Almost as loud as my solid sitka topped baritone uke and I can drive it harder and it only cost $20. I have a stew mac clone kit that I am doing right now which I have high hopes for...so without further ado...





I french polished it and everything was looking pretty good till it was time for the bridge install. I glued the bridge slightly crooked(clamp slip) so ended up tearing(yes I said tearing) off the bridge cutting out a smooth space for the replacement bridge and now the action is to high but I just picked up some torch tip cleaning files so that nut is going to get it!

That's one happy looking customer there Zak. Thanks for posting pinkie. As for making mistakes. We all make them. I'm hoping that I don't make the same one more than a couple of times .
