Sort of possible, but depends on having the right size bits/bearings and the cavity ledge an offset from the cavity itself.
1: To make a template of the cavity, use a straight bit with a bottom bearing running in the cavity.
2: Use a rebate bit with a bottom bearing to cut a second enlarged template opening from the first template. Repeat if necessary.
3: Use the enlarged template and a straight bit with a top bearing to cut the cover.
Bandsaw would be quicker probably.
