If anyone has any experiences of using a crowding funding site in any capacity, raising money, giving, or lending money, can you please say something about the experience and which site was involved?

I have with my previous business. We didn't use any crowdfunding directly ourselves, but we had a number of clients who did use if for a number of different reasons and products with mixed results. We acted on a consulting basis.
