Here's the deal. We just finished processing a high grade log into tops. There are a number of tops with the stiffness, texture and color of AAA and Master grade, but with some "flash". From either a knot several inches away or a pitch pocket deeper in the log that caused a lump.

We are out of the original bunch of tops that prompted this sale. We will still honor the coupon to any orders to this product/grade, but will go through inventory in the stacks to glean those nice ones with "the Flash". I know there are more there, and not hard to find.. A great top for $21/set!

Thanks Martin! Just so everyone knows. There is no shortage of Great soundboard products of old growth Sitka Spruce around here. Thousands of tops. And nearly .75 million board feet of large diameter log selected specifically for tonewood products production in our log yard inventory. We are currently getting formalities in order, with Gibson and Martin to supply each of those companies with our salvage sourced old growth soundboard products. These formalities include the sample orders sent and the documentation of our lawfully and legally and ethically procured raw material timber. We have been knocking on those doors for well over a decade and at Winter NAMM had meetings and "struck a chord".
This is VERY GOOD NEWS!.... for the whole bunch of us.
Finally this factory we built and moved into in 2015, will be getting used for what it is intended, with production. Plus as we open up more log that has been stored in our under cover log yard, we get to see more neat character and produce more product to glean the special stuff custom builders want to use. We will see more sales for products like this sort on sale, as well as other neat things that this forest produces.
