Hi All,
Stung up my 2ndbuild (1st steel string) the other day. Pretty happy with the sound, best balanced guitar I own. Learnt a ton and made plenty of mistakes including real trouble with the projected neck angle despite sooooo much prep work.
I have put in sound mass and the lower bout back brace is full height, but will let it settle in for a while before I look at doing any modal tuning. Specs are
Soundboard: Englemann spruce
Back & sides, h/s veneers
Neck: Tassy
Rosette & end graft: Mango & paua
Finish: Tru-oil

Nice work Trent....love the rosette and butt strip. Did you manage to do any tap testing on the instrument?

Looks great! Some really nice design details... love the headstock and the end butt joint design especially. Purfling colours match well with the back and sides too... is that bloodwood?
