Strings touching headstock slot edge

In my headstock design for classicals I find that the third and fourth string tend to touch the corner of the slots on the way to the tuner roller. This is particularly so if I wind in such a way as to reduce the angle from the nut to the roller.

Do people think this is a problem?

I ask because I have just been looking at a Kevin Aram guitar and his third string appears at least, to be leaning on the edge of the headstock slot.

I was thinking of redesigning so there was more room for the strings so this wouldn't happen but perhaps I am over worrying...?

Dave, I find the problems strings are usually the first and sixth strings as they run from the outer most slots to the nearest roller. I obsess about it at times and I usually try and pre-empt the issue by doing a full scale drawing of the guitar before construction with string runs drawn in. I also allow for a bit of fine tuning of the ends of the headstock slots once everything is finished.
