The OLF has announced another swap meet starting on Monday June 2nd.
For anyone who hasn't participated in one of these it's lots of fun and you will see some unbelievable sets of wood of going for very reasonable prices.
The star of last years show was undoubtedly Kim Hickey who seemed to be able to sneak in just as someone had posted something new and spectacular and steal it from underneath the noses of unsuspecting bidders.
He assures me that this was, in part, due getting out of bed at random times during the night on the pretence of having a leak .
I'm sure he'll respond with a "Swap Meet 101" primer.
I've set up a timer which you can find here
Swap Meet Countdown
They haven't announced the exact time that the swap meet opens but I'll adjust the clock as soon as I know.
Cheers
Bob

My wife teased me last swap meet about being up in the middle of the night spending my time in front of the pewta screen getting wood.
As for swap-meet 101, I've got a great tip for you all. Leave the really attractive offerings with great figure well alone, it is my experience that they are usually the most cranky and will only end heart ache. As Harry Belafonte once recommended;
If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life,
Never take a pretty set of wood just sliced.
So from my personal point of view,
Get a straight grained set cause that will do.
Cheers
