Queen of Hearts build pics.

Hi all, last week I posted in the Gallery pictures of a guitar “The Queen of Hearts” and said that I would post some pics of the build process. These are some of the photos taken from the CD I made for the customer, whoever that might be.

The photos have captions aimed at a person who may not know or understand the processes involved.
In case you have not visited the Gallery, I forget to visit there at times and head for the main section, there are fifty hearts featured in, on and around the guitar, these photos will show how they were utilised.

As matter of interest the guitar is now displayed in an exhibition called “Made from Scratch” in the Townsville Museum of Tropical Queensland.

Nice one Taffy, I just checked it out in the gallery, lovely butt.

I chose a Queen of hearts, I would never have been able to afford a Queen of diamonds.

Thank you Taffy, for posting the build pics. I can see now where all those "missing" hearts went, but I am somewhat scared to fail if I would try to count them again!

I think it's a very adequate (and really nice) build documentation for the customer.

very nice! I marvel at the clean work hand cutting the rosette channel and even using the scroll saw for the heart sound hole.
