Got a costumer who brought a Seagull acoustic guitar in last week. He needed a setup and wanted a clean and refinish on his top. He wore out the soundhole to much to just cover it up with a new scratchplate, so we decided to do some little "restoration" on this one.
I didn't have any of my old scrap wood / left overs, but luckily Woodrat has been so kind to send me a few pieces of cedar! We are eternally grateful for that

The plan is to:
- give the top a light sand (Seagull doesn't use heavy thick finishes), use a little water to take out small dents/scratches.
- route out the top bit of the worn out soundhole bit and glue a new piece of cedar on top (will need some custom jigs for this).
- apply a new matte finish to the top (not sure on oil or shellac. What does Seagull use?).
- There's a loose brace inside that needs reglueing.
- first 4 frets need replacement, so needs fretleveling and recrowning as well...
- New nut, as the old one is way to low...
- and finally the setup where it all started

I'll keep you all updated with photos. Please feel free to share any thoughts or comments, suggestions, likes or "DON'T DO THAT!!!", or whatever

Some pics on the guitar.
