This little beauty was courtesy of the Queensland government, and was part of a package that was offered to Queenslanders to encourage/help them save power.
I had always wondered what it cost to run my air conditioning, evaporative cooler, lighting, fans and dehumidifier in the workshop and now with this little gem, I now know.
It is hooked up wirelessly to my meter box and reads the Kw used and the cost per hour. On the screen it has the time, temperature and the humidity displayed as well.
All in all a great tool around the office/workshop, but as with many things that governments do, when is appears successful, they pull the pin on the program. I was one of the last.
Nice little device, cost bugger all.

I bought one a couple of years ago but it cost me a couple a hundred, I am a Queenslander too but now live in Sydney looks like I moved to soon. I will agree they are definitely worth having.
Keep Smiling,
