at 6.11 PM for Melbourne the space shuttle goes over and can be seen from Adelaide to Sydney ,or more , look at the link for your time
Melbourne is going to get a good view, it's conected to the space station and is big and bright and going at roughly 22,000 kmh

here is a link for exact time and direction , you have to be looking in the right direction at the right time, I get on my mobile to the recorded time to get it right
